Terry Vargo – Private Music Lessons, Music, and Performance

Terry Vargo began playing piano at age four and began his study of music at the age of seven taking piano lessons from local teachers in northeastern Michigan

He received his Bachelor of Arts, a Piano Performance Major with a Vocal Performance Minor, from Spring Arbor University studying piano with Audrejean Heydenburg

Terry began teaching lessons during his college years in southern Michigan and has continued teaching Piano Lessons, Voice Lessons, Guitar Lessons, and Music Theory since moving to the Lenoir City/Farragut area in 2008.  Terry was the Junior and Senior High Music Instructor at Crossroads Christian Academy from 2009 – 20011. Terry is a caring and skilled teacher teaching all ages 6 and up.

With almost 40 years of performing experience, Terry is:

Worship Leader – currently serving at Carpenter’s Chapel AOG in Knoxville

Pianist, Keyboards, Lead Vocals, and Guitar in a variety of groups including Christian Rock, Worship Bands, Jazz, Blues, Country, and Big Bands

Terry has provided music for weddings, receptions, private parties, and fundraisers such as the First Annual Parkinson’s Walk-a-thon and a Spring Arbor University event featuring Steve Forbes – Forbes Inc.

Sound Tech for many Christian concerts including Twila Paris, Margaret Becker, Phil Driscoll, Randy Stonehill, Rick Cua, Scott Wesley Brown, Bryan Duncan and many more
